Yacolt Weather Information

I have always been interested in weather, and when we moved to Yacolt my lovely wife bought me a weather station.  I soon found out that Yacolt has a unique weather pattern which is much different that the Portland/Vancouver metro area.
The station has been up and recording weather data since 2006.  Noted below are the annual rainfall records.  I measure rainfall from from July 1st to July 1st as a season rather than the calendar year.
All data from this weather station is uploaded to the Weather Underground and to the Citizens Weather Observation Program
I am also a photography enthusiast, and all the pictures shown on this site were taken by me

Annual Rainfall

• 7/06 to 7/07 - 96.61 Inches
• 7/07 to 7/08 - 89.9 Inches
• 7/08 to 7/09 - 64.40 Inches
• 7/09 to 7/10 - 72.15 Inches
• 7/10 to 7/11 - TBD

Seasonal Statistics

Statistical data is available from Weather Underground.  You may notice a discrepancy between the rainfall totals I note above and the reports available from the links below.  This is due to my losing power on a regular basis during the Winter and some data not being reported properly to WU
